Darren Eva MRICS specializes in residential surveys and valuations throughout Essex and East London.
Darren’s main interests include residential valuations particularly retrospective valuations and Building Pathology. Darren is also often called as an Expert Witness and is fully aware of the role as expert witness including the CPR (Civil Procedure Rules, part 35), regularly assisting in successful pre-litigation negotiations for claimants and defendants and acting for both. Additionally, Darren has many years of experience in the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act (1996) and adjudication proceedings. Darren also holds a wealth of experience in regards to commercial surveying in respect of schedule of dilapidations, rent reviews and capital and pension valuations.
In his spare time, Darren often lectures at the London South Bank University on matters relating to valuation, such as Dilapidations, Valuation, and the Assessment of Professional Competence. Contact Darren here.

Jack Himpfen - Jones
Jack started within the property industry in 2010 alongside Darren forming what is now a longstanding partnership. Jack holds valuable experience in all aspects of residential and Building surveying including RICS Homebuyers reports, valuations and defects analysis. Jack also undertakes commercial works in form of valuations and building surveys.
Jack graduated from The University of Greenwich in 2014 with an HNC in Building Surveying allowing him to obtain AssocRICS and Registered Valuer status. Jack has recently graduated from the University of Northumbria with an MSc in Building Surveying and is currently in the process of becoming MRICS.
Danny’s career started within the residential sector in 2016 as a Negotiator/Estate Agent. This is where his interest in property begun. Since then, Danny has attended the University College of Estate Management where he studied a Residential Surveying & Valuation diploma and obtained his AssocRICS and Registered Valuation status.
Danny has been a qualified surveyor since June 2021 carrying out Valuations, Homebuyers Surveys, Building Surveys and Lease Extensions. He is extremely competent and is a well experienced surveyor and is now studying a Building surveying master’s degree at the University of Northumbria, with the view of becoming a fully Chartered Surveyor.
